Mid-century modern done right

A friend who shares the same house tastes as my own just got back from a US holiday. He sent me a link to a house for sale in Palm Springs, California.

Apart from being blown away by such a gorgeous example of the mid-century modern design, I was astonished by the relatively cheap price of the house - $399,000. Now that may not be considered a 'cheap' house, but when compared to what you would find on the Australian market at that price, it's a steal.

I'd take an uneducated guess and say that you'd probably pay double the price in this market. Check out it's gorgeousness. Swoon.
